Tomorrow is National Scrapbook Day!!!

Can you guess our theme???  We're so excited for tomorrow (and, of course, our 2nd day of celebrating scrapbooking on May 18th).   If you ae still on the fence, there are a couple of spots left for tomorrow. Kaisercraft and My Mind's Eye

We have a ton of new product in the store!  Here are a few samples to show you.

 

Kaisercraft Bundle of Joy.   This is one of the cutest vintage baby lines to come out in years.  So soft and sweet.  It will make adorable baby books, layouts and cards.  We have both the baby boy and baby girl lines in the store.

 

My Mind's Eye:  My Girl, Boy Crazy, and the Collectable Lines are in stock.  Super fun, cheery papers.

 

My Mind's Eye:  Lost and Found 3.  Gorgeous colors and a bit of gold sparkle. 

 

Birthday Book Class w/Terri

Once again, our in-house artist, Terri, has designed a super cute book to record all of your important birthdates in.  Imagine never forgetting a birthday again!  Class is April 24 @ 6.  $30.  Please call the store to sign up.  You will need your basic scrapbooking supplies to make this pretty book.

The Blog is BACK!!!

We are so happy to be back with our store blog!  We've really missed you and have so much news to share!

First up:  We are so excited to announce that Once Upon a Memory is going to celebrate National Scrapbook Day with TWO special crops!!!  The first is on Saturday, May 4, and the second one is on Saturday, May 18.  Both are 12 hour crops.  Be prepared to be spoiled!    For only $45.,  you will crop with your friends from 10 am-10 pm, enjoy a wonderful lunch, then a fabulous dinner, a yummy dessert, amazing goodie bags and lots of other fun surprises!  We have a limited number of spots so call the store to reserve yours soon. 

We have lots and lots of new product in the store!   First up is My Mind's Eye, The Sweetest Thing Collection.  Soft, pretty colors.

 

Next, Kaisercraft's In the Attic, Remember Me, and Hopscotch.

Christmas Open House this weekend!!!

Our 4th Annual Christmas Open House will be this Saturday, Decemhber 3, from noon til 4 pm.  Come join Catherine & Debbie and craft up some holiday fun.  Enjoy a cup of warm apple cider and a yummy treat while you craft away the afternoon.   No reservations are necessary; just bring your basic scrapbooking supplies.  You will have many different, inexpensive crafts to choose from.  Make some darling gifts for friends, neighbors, and coworkers.....and you just might want to make a little something for yourself.  Don't miss out on this fun event, and also, be sure to check out the big SALE at the store.  Sale hours are 10am-7pm.  See you Saturday, Ladies!!!

Card Class/Dessert Club this Wednesday!

 
 
Here are two of the three cards we'll be making this Wednesday night.   The 3rd card is a vintage button card that we would love to show you right now, but the picture wouldn't cooperate.  Come join us at 6:30 for a special dessert and some fun crafting time!  Please call the store to sign up so we will have the card kits ready for you.  All you need are your basic craft supplies.   See you Wednesday!  :)

September Calendar is up!

September is a great month at Once Upon a Memory!  Lots of classes, crops, FREE crops (that's right, free!), and discounts. 

Be sure to check out our monthly classes:  Diana teaches you how to use the trendy and super fun Copic Markers.  You will make some awesome cards and will soon be hooked on Copics.  Look for her classes each month.  Only $25., but please make reservations ahead of time.

Also, Debbie & Catherine continue to have their monthly Creative Card classes on the 3rd Wednesday of each month @ 6:30 - 8:00 pm.   You will make some pretty cards using vintage trims, buttons, lace, ink, flowers, etc.  Come join the fun and enjoy a yummy dessert while you have fun!  Please call in advance to sign up so they can prepare your card kits.  Class is $20.

Terri is the designer of the Album of the Month Series.  This month, she offers her Travel Mini Album.  Class is on Wednesday, 9/26 @ 6:30 - 8:30.  Reservations are required so Terri can have all your papers, bits and goodies ready for you.  $35.

Did you know that our Saturday Day Crops are from 10-6 for only $7. or a crop card punch.  But, you could also come and crop for FREE if you purchase $20. worth of store product (classes not included).  We have lots of new, fun papers, and goodies right at your fingertips, so bring your crop friends in and have a great day!

 

Magic of Oz Class with Sondra

 

 

On Saturday, September 24th at 10:30 am come learn how to make a cute tote bag with matching rosette along with 4 coordinating cards that fit inside as pictured below.  The Graphic 45 Stamp Sets "Magic of OZ" has several different cute sayings around iconic OZ images.  After learning this technique, you'll want to make many more for any occasion just by changing the paper & stamp set.  

 

Techniques - you will learn how to:  make a paper rosette, use a blender pen, use the big shot & embossing "bricked" folder, use a border punch, masking, maximize paper usage & make a cute tote bag.

 

NOTE:  All kits will be "pre-cut" for you ahead of time so we can begin stamping & assembling right away.  Instruction ends at 12:30.  Class fee must be pre-paid by the date indicated below.  This will allow time to order supplies & pre-cut your card kits at one time.  Class fee can be paid in cash, check or credit card.  If you prepay for class and are unable to make it to class at the last minute, you will have a kit already prepared (pre-cut) for you that can be picked up.  Class fee is non-refundable.

7.  Red line or sticky strip adhesive *

9.  Handheld Crop-a-dile

 * Adhesive is not provided in class.  You can purchase adhesives here at the store before class starts if you don't bring your own to class.
